  • Check your credit rating. Let's straighten out any complications now so we don't run into problems later.
  • Determine a comfortable budget for your new life, including your down payment and on-going costs.
  • Find a loan program that meets your needs and get pre-qualified (preferably pre-approved).
  • Identify your most desirable features you want and determine the areas/neighborhoods that match your lifestyle.

  • Lender fees such as loan processing, underwriting, preparation and establishing an escrow account.
  • Third-party fees such as insurance, title search, and other inspections that you may want or local ordinances my require.
  • Government fees such as deed recording and state/local property taxes.
  • Escrow & interest fees such as homeowner's insurance, loan interest, real estate taxes, and occasionally private mortgage insurance.
